History
After the end of the war the Czech continued building the Me-109G as the Avia S-99. After their supply of DB605 engines ran out the switched to the Jumo211 of which they had a large supply. The Jumo211 engined aircraft was known as the S-199. The Czech National Air Guard or Air Police, a paramilitary organization, used civil registrations with an oblate form of the standard national insignia. In the early 1950's the S-99's and S-199's were retired and replaced by Soviet supplied jets.
