History
Early 1943 the Italian Air Force received its first 109's when 109's were supplied. Shortly before the Italian surrender in 1943 the Air Force received a number of G-6's. After the split of Italy the Northern ANR flew two units with the Me-109 G-6 and G-10. The aircraft of the Italian Air Force prior to 1943 carried a white circle with three fasces in black on the wings and a white cross on the tail. The ANR carried a square version of the fasces simbol on the wings and an Italian flag on the fuselage.
