History
In 1942 Romania received 69 Me-109 E-3 and E-4's. These were followed by G-2, G-6, G-8, G-10 and G-14's. In 1944 Romania switched sided and the 109's flew alongside the Soviet Air Force carrying red. yellow and blue roundels. The Romanian Air Force flew the 109's until 1948.
