History
The Slovak Air Force received a number of Me-109 E's and later G-6's. These aircraft carried balkenkreuze with blue centers and a red disc in the middle. A few Me-109's were used by insurgent forces in the Slovakian National Uprising in August 1944 and flew against the German forces. These carried the pre 1938 Czech markings with a Slovak double cross on the blue sector.
